Processing Power & Architecture: The Starkey Neuro Processor is not only the smallest Starkey has ever made, but also the most powerful, packing 6× more transistors than the previous generation chip. It runs up to 4× faster than earlier Starkey processors while being more energy-efficient . In fact, it’s loaded with 5× more computational memory and 10× more non-volatile memory than before, providing plenty of headroom for advanced algorithms and data storage. They continuously measure movement and activity, allowing the My Starkey smartphone app to log your daily steps, measure how long you’ve been active or standing, estimate exercise and calorie burn, and even track “engagement” in activities. All these wellness metrics, step count, movement, exercise time, etc. are available for the user to monitor, just like with a wearable fitness device. Starkey frames this as using “the science of the ears” to help wearers achieve well-being goals. In practical terms, your hearing aids can encourage you to stay active by tracking your activity levels throughout the day. Genesis AI includes built-in Multiflex Tinnitus Pro technology, which offers relief for users suffering from tinnitus, a persistent ringing or buzzing in the ears. This system allows your hearing care provider to customize a sound therapy profile specifically for your tinnitus pattern. These sounds (which can resemble white noise, pink noise, or even soothing ocean-like tones) are delivered through the hearing aids and help to mask or reduce the perception of tinnitus. They are fully integrated into the hearing aids and do not interfere with amplification for hearing loss.
